Lauren’s Honorary Oscar
The glorious Lauren Bacall attended the 82nd Academy Awards last night and received a standing ovation after footage of her receiving her Lifetime Achievement Award at the Governor’s Oscars dinner back in November last year.
Lauren looked as sprightly as ever, at 85, classic in black, as she stood to receive the acclaim.
Bacall was nominated once for an Oscar – Best Supporting Actress – amazingly in 1996, after a career of more than 50 years, for her performance in The Mirror Has Two Faces. She had won the Golden Globe, but lost out on Oscar to Juliette Binoche who won for The English Patient.
